Before I even got the chance to test out Pottery Barn's stretched picture canvas service, I found this awesome company called Myfotowall on OhGizmo! that will take a photo you absolutely adore and transform it into wallpaper for your house. Beautiful sunset? A lovely landscape? Done and done! The downside? Prices start at $90 per square meter and the inks are said to only last three years without fading. . . ouch! But then again, you may want to change it after staring at a pic of yourself for 1095 days straight!

This would be a great idea if the wallpaper could last more than 3 years.
1You can buy stuff like this at Ikea
2I would think that, as you said, after three years… some pictures might begin to annoy a little anyway.
When I get out of dorms (white walls.) I think I'll stick with relatively neutral colours on my walls - and rather spritz up with accessories, like pillows, throws, plants…
3This is really cool. If I have some expendable income in the future, I might do this.
4I absolutely adore this idea for an office space, a kitchen or a child's bedroom, but not for a master bedroom or any other room in the home. I think the above two pictures are really inspiring and precious!
5I take back my comment because I just looked on the site and saw all of the examples and I love every one of them!
6Neat. One can dream, though.
7that kitchen is great. also, if that wall doesn't get much sunlight, it might last longer than 3 years.
