Choosing a USB drive should be like shopping for a pair of shoes — you choose the style, size and color and away you go! Unfortunately not too many USB manufacturers give consumers the freedom to be so liberal with their flash drive preferences. But thanks to a company called Pantone, the freedom is all yours with fourteen aluminum thumb drive colors to choose from. Not only that, but Pantone also offers engraving, so can really add some personal flair to your USB stick. Pantone's Flash Drives come in 512MB and 1, 2, and 4GB sizes. Prices range from $11 to $35.

I'm such a massive geek I just got a tattoo of 805, the pantone code for neon orange. Sadly there's no similar USB drive, otherwise I'd be purchasing one of those sharpish!

Though I realize this makes me an even bigger geek... make sure you check the actual Pantone swatches before ordering if you have them... they look pretty different than the screen colors.

I'm brought back to bad memories of choosing a color theme for our magazine during high school journalism...

Good advice, graylen! To me green, is green but I could see someone being bummed about not getting the "right" shade.

As a graphic design student, I work with flash drives and Pantone swatches constantly. I love the concept of these, but my only gripe is the cap! I've lost every the cap of every flash drive that I've owned. So, I'd be way more inclined to buy one of these if it were retractable!
