Ripping DVDs to ipod--I learned about this from my brother the Mac user. I'm a Windows gal. The best Windows program for DVD to ipod is a program called Cucusoft. It's a one step rip and convert program. You can get a free trial of the software, and it's $29 for a registry key that takes the trial watermark off the video. Money well spent in my opinion, as I can now take my fave movies along with me on trips without having to lug my laptop and dvd case through airport security. So much better to have one little gadget that I can just drop in my purse and go merrily on my way...
