Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria seems to be a hot ticket on the geeky circuit. Last week we spotted her hanging out at the Microsoft Vista goodies party and yesterday she posed with the Motorola KRZR after accepting a $245,000 check on behalf of Padres Contra El Cancer from AT&T.
The money will go to help fund the organization's programs that provide support to Latino children battling childhood cancer and their families, and Eva apparently sang the praises of AT&T for their support. "Thank you Cingular Wireless, now the new AT&T," said Longoria. "Your tremendous efforts will help us serve more families in the Los Angeles area who cope with the devastating effects of childhood cancer on a daily basis." Longoria added "this campaign is a perfect example of how a corporation like the new AT&T can creatively support organizations that provide critical services to the young and innocent."
The cousin of the uber popular MOTORAZR, the MOTOKRZR is known for its slender form with "razor-thin design principles in a sleek clamshell form" - those are their words not mine. It has actually gotten rave reviews because though it's even smaller than the RAZR it is apparently a little sturdier. It also has an integrated MP3 player, airplane mode and Stereo Bluetooth headset support.
