Yesterday I posted the ever-so-cool Samsung Rotating Digital Camera with its unique 180 degree screen. Today I wanted to share this very chic point-and-shoot camera design with another unique screen. When folded, the FlapCam protects the lens and LCD screen from dirt and scratches, but when opened you can check out all your beautiful pics. Because of its protective-folded design, the FlapCam doesn't require a case. Still in its early concept/design phase, the FlapCam will hopefully be picked up by a camera company soon.

Doesn't require a case? I doubt that... these things always seem so fragile to me, I would assume you can't go wrong getting a case to protect it.
1True.
2It reminds me of the base I had for my first digital camera-- it's a polaroid something that I still have around here somewhere. I loved it but the battery kept dying almost as soon as I took it off the base, fully charged. What do you do about that? Is there an internal battery that needs to be changed out or something?
3Super cool and oh so pretty!
4Looks like it'd be perfect for taking self-shots, which my friends and I are big fans of! There aren't always nice strangers to stop and ask to take pictures for you!
5looks and feels like a lomo, can't wait to get hold of it though!
