We're at the point in our YouTube lives that we now have oldies but goodies — this gem, for instance, is an oldie (in more ways than one — check out that frizzy 'do!). You may have seen this talent show hopeful perform her heart out on the trumpet (looks like. . .?!), killing the Star Wars theme, but if you haven't, it's time. Trust me. And if you have seen it, it may be time for a rewatch.
The Miss Douglas County candidate probably didn't win, and hopefully got some tuba lessons since the competition, but as for that C-3PO (heretofore known as "The Shiny Guy") dance — that, she nailed!

Trumpet, not tuba.
1egad. she sounds like she's playing a kazoo! xD
2This is one of my all time fave videos. I've been trying to locate "Ms. Douglas County" for awhile now...
3Lol, this video is SO funny! I shared this with my fellow music-major friends after my boyfriend showed it to me. I was almost in tears from laughing so hard!
4she's playing the trumpet, and it sounds like she's either playing the song in a different key than in the recording or she's just incredibly out of tune and can't tell.
5Wow. Her dance moves combined with her astounding trumpet playing made for one hell ov a laugh!
6a quick google finds this interview with the woman who didn't know it was circulating online...

7jul3z, Thank you so much for posting that link! She seems like a nice person, but totally mortified that it made it to YouTube!
8Tuba? Really? I know you're focusing on gadgets and all, but there's a big difference between a tuba and a trumpet.
9Huh, now that was just pure awful. Why didn't somebody tell her how crazy she was going to look before she actually did it on stage. Poor girl.
10Sorry jeng52, I'm a total geek but was never a band geek. That's what I have you guys for, though!
