Photobucket has its tail between its legs today after pulling some pictures of babies in diapers, saying that they violated the terms of service — because they depicted nudity!
Member Good Mama Diapers had posted pictures of the offending babies in diapers as part of a contest and then noticed they were all gone. A reporter at CNET News emailed Photobucket to ask what the deal was, and about two hours later, Photobucket admitted to their error and upgraded Good Mama Diapers to a pro account.
I guess Photobucket doesn't know nudity when it sees it! I don't think I've had any photos pulled from MySpace, Picasa, or any other photo sites I've used, but I'm positive they pull things all the time just to be cautious. Has this ever happened to you? It might if some of you posted your Number 1s!

Nope not me...
1This is sort of different, but when I was 19 I tried getting some film from a party developed at Wal-Mart and they didn't give me any of the ones of me and my girlfriends kissing each other (yeah..nevermind..) Apparently they won't develop pictures like that, or someone kept them..
2Very glad I don't use any public picture hosting services. Gallery never tells me what I can and cannot upload
3Yes I have! I had a picture with a baby butt pulled!
4I posted a picture on flickr of an antique sign...it just happened to be of an alcohol brand...they wouldn't show it!
5Myspace deleted a picture of my 1 year old with no diaper on, from the side. No nipple, no privates no bum. Just her looking at me and a chubby thigh.
They deleted it. Pissed me off.
6Never happened to me online. But I have had a picture pulled at a theme park - my husband and I kissed (cute and innocent, I swear!) on a Disneyworld ride. When we walked through the picture booth, we noticed a piece of cardboard over the screen that would have had us on it. I felt a little bad, but hey, no one told us it wasn't allowed!
7No, I try to do the right thing on the internet.
8No.
9no. never. i use webshots rather than flickr and they don't seem to ban stuff, maybe...
10Thats ridiculous, they are babies. My gosh, thats just dumb.
Greentea thats dumb...I'm sure some guy just took those ones lol.
11funny. they pull pics of babies in diapers, but the pic of my friend with a vibrator on his head is still there?
12Photobucket pulled many pics of an imaginary character I've used to tease friends with, his name was "Angry Penis" I used many phallic shaped objects, and then added text to get the pictures. (Fruit, rock formations, vegetables, flowers etc etc) Photobucket deleted them all. Here is the kicker, many of the original pics that I used, I actually sourced from Photobucket, and they are still there!! All I added was a text, "Angry Penis is camouflaged" or "Angry Penis sees you"
13After several emails back and forth, Photobucket would not budge an inch, defending their moderators and eventually refusing to respond.
I have come to the conclusion that photobucket mods must be a bunch of angry lesbians with penis envy. Don't take that the wrong way, I love lesbians.
