For those of us that like to take part in "hands-free" geeky activities like playing our portable gaming devices, reading a book, or surfing the web on our laptops, rest assured knowing that you can stay warm (and I might add, fuzzy) thanks to the Slanket.
Imagine wrapping yourself in a blanket, except this time you don't have to restrict your arms because this time — the blanket has arm sleeves! With the fleece slanket your entire body, including your arms will stay nice and warm while you partake in your geeky extracurricular activities! The slanket costs $50 and is available in blue, brown, green, pink, red. Do tell . . . Too embarrassing and geeky to actually put to good use or are you lovin' it?!

100% geeky, but I WANT IT!!!
1Oh the possibilities...WANT!
2it's really, but it would make my life so much warmer!
3i would not wear it out to a game (like the other picture on skymall) but seems more than comfy enough for home.
4I don't like it.
5I adore this! Especially when the AC's turned on high and I still need to type on the PC, this'll keep me just right and toasty.
6I want this so bad!!!
7I have a slanket and LOVE IT!!!! i really think it is the most brilliant invention ever. and i am only slightly exaggerating. my sister has one too, they are so cool.
8This sounds like it'd be great for curling up in a chair & reading.
9waste of money
10And by 100% geeky I mean 100% awesome!! I have a blanket (can't remember the name of it) but it snaps to create arms and what not so you can read and everything but I want this one!!
11I chose "other" - it's not my body that really gets cold while gaming/surfing, it's my hands. So I don't need a body warmer, I need a non restrictive glove. BUT, I wouldn't return it if someone gave it to me.
12are you kidding me? i'd rock this all the time to like brunch or a wedding. but i'd lose all my friends.
13I just love that pic of the guy! He looks so
14happy in his slanket!
My husband bought me a slanket for Christmas 2 years ago, and I LOVE IT!! Every inch of me stays warm, and I dont have to be awkwardly rolled up like a taco.
15NEED IT! I do all my data analysis at home lying on the couch with my laptop, and I am always cold because it is always FREEZING in our condo. I always have blankets piled on top, but I can never keep my arms under and still use them... this is exactly what I need! Fantastic!
16I mean, 100% geeky without a doubt, but who cares? I'd just be lounging around in my pajamas underneath it anyway.
Off to go order one now...
its like a really, really big robe.
17Thrilled at the idea of a slanket. Very geeky looking, but I WANT it. I'm perpetually cold, and always flipping over to make it so I can keep reading just that little bit longer; warming one arm at a time. Warm+fuzzy=cute. So there.
18I have a slanket, and it is amazing. Everyone I know tries to steal it from me when I'm not using it. It's huge so it covers everything, and the sleeves are just so great. I got one for my sister, then she got one for me, and now I'm giving on to my brother who begs to use mine every day.
19I always imagined something like this, but figured someone had invented one already - and I guess I was right.
20Totally geeky, yes....but I'm a total geek!! I'm often frustrated when I'm reading, writing, or playing video games and my hands are caught in the blanket. I would so use this.
21I'd get one if it were cheaper.
22It does look somewhat geeky (could just be the model, tho) but I would definitely get it for myself. It's hard to play computer games when you're trying to keep your blanket up to your neck . . .
23Freaky.
24I've always wanted a blanket with sleeves so I could read in bed and not be cold. But this product isn't exactly what I envisioned.
25Wow. Just wow.
26Freakish. At least it comes in pink.
27i laughed when i saw that little guy engulfed in this big green blanket. too funny.
28Does it at least come in other colors?
29haha whoops, it says so right in the post what other colors it comes in... =P
30I want it!!!, but $50??
31It's horrible looking but very cool for the ultimate gamer!
32LOVE IT!
33Not exactly attractive, but very practical. Slanket? Is that the best name they could think of!?
34Super geeky but HELLO awesome. This has a variety of cool uses and now you can read without being chilly. As someone who really likes to have ablanket almost all th etime around the house this thing looks so good I want one or maybe two right now
35I HAVE ONE!!! And it rocks. Who cares what it looks like when I'm all curled up warm on the couch and can still type on my laptop!
36Oh, also, other companies are starting to make these. I saw a down quilted version somewhere. I wish I could remember where. So look for the price to come down and look for knockoffs. Also, I can't see where a sewer would have a hard time making one...could probably make BANK at a craft fair or flea market if you figured it out.
37hmmm...sew-er...sewer...seamstress? Sorry for the multiple comments.
38They're totally geeky but practical! I bought one for my mother-in-law since she gets cold easily but still needs her hands for reading or crafting. I might be getting one for my sister-in-law too!
39Totally Geek Chic!! I want one so bad!
40i want one SO bad!
41No, not for me. I can put on heavier clothing.
42My mom gave me one for recovery from surgery - we didn't pay 50$ for it though, we paid 30.
43It's awesome - and HUGE. I'm 5'4'' and it dwarfs me. Keeps you super toasty and you don't have to worry about your toes sticking out.
That is so silly-looking, but I would definitely use it!!
44I can't believe I didn't invent this.
45lol. it looks so silly... but i'll buy my brother one...
46LOVE this!
47100% but an excellent idea!! I love to read & it would be awesome!!
48I'd use it but I also know how to put on a sweater as well.
49This is totally geeky but AMAZING, AWESOME, BRILLIANT, etc. I want one so bad. I'm always really cold at night when I am watching tv and I hate bringing my arms out of my blanket to change the channels or fast forward on the dvr. It's also great for when I have to type on the laptop. It's not that $50 is super expensive but I can find better things to spend it on since spring and summer are coming fast. But before fall and winter come around again, I definitely want to get this!
