Oooh! A remote control flying toy that's not a helicopter or an army plane! The Silverlit iBird has me kind of transfixed — they have the kind of organic meets tech beauty that I appreciated last month in those rad PaperBirds. It's supposed to fly and flap around like a real bird (see the video in the link), but in action, it reminds me of a hummingbird, which while beautiful, have always incited weird beak-in-ear fears for me. It's about $50 and comes in three color choices. What do you think? Beautiful, freaky. . . Both?

Puma
Petite Mendigote
Burberry
I love this! It's beautiful.
1How about a iEverything?
2Yeah, why is everything nowadays an "iSomething"? It drives me nuts.
Love the bird, though.
3I wish it was prettier. But I would still love to play with it.
4It is SUPER loud though, here's a REAL video.

I think it's okay, but it would be prettier with different colors.
5Oh my God! I would LOVE to have one of these! I was always hoping for something like this when I was younger. I mean, screw those flying toy planes and whatever. I always wanted something that can fly and is -pretty- ^^
6vomit. it is so ugly.
7breagayle, thanks for the video! I wish I could change my vote. That thing is WAYYYY TOO LOUD!
8Very cool!
9sweet!
10cool!
11i think that it looks nice but it's really not something that i would personally get. it's nicer than the usual remote controled flying things though.
12Not something I would have.
13I think it's perfect for my daughter. Her bestfriend across the street is a boy and he has the planes and all that so this would be great for her to play with since she's all girly and everything. Better than a crappy plane!
14It's pretty & I would like to play with it but I know I'd just get bored with it after a while & curse myself for wasting money on it, hahaha.
15it looks kind of creepy!
