The first thing I thought of when I saw these was a row of popsicles! Unfortunately these tiny gadgets aren't edible, but they do have mighty storage capacities so you can backup all your important data. Transcend has designed these rainbow colored USB Flash drives with each color corresponding to a different storage size.
- Orange = 512 MB
- Blue = 1GB
- Red = 2GB
- Green = 4GB
Also included with these devices is basic security software. Click Transcend USB Flash drive to purchase on Amazon.com. Prices are very reasonable as the 4GB drive only costs $43.

Ooooo, I like the green -- and it has a large capacity. (Sounds like *my* kinda drive.)
1P.S.
They do look like popsicles -- I wanna lick the blue and red ones.
2I can't believe how inexpensive they are. I'd totally get one, but I have a bunch of plain ones already.
3ok im gonna sound dumb but...what are they used for?
4No worries Sarah22, there are no dumb questions! USB flash drives are compact and easy-to-use devices that are similar in use to your computer hard drive or if you want to go old school the floppy disk. Flash drives are tiny, usually smaller than your pinky finger and fit into the USB drive on your laptop or desktop...You can save content from your computer on them and transfer it to another computer, so you can get complete freedom and mobility.
5thanks so much!
6They hold a lot more than a CD, they're rewritable, and they're easier to carry around, too.
7All of the professors on campus use these. They upload all of their lectures on to them and then just plug them into the comps at the lecture stand. Much better than carrying your laptop around.
I love the colors!!! very summer
8I like them.
9My hubby can never get too many of these things -- and these ones are cheap.
10Cute!
11Yah, I'll take one in green, thank you!
But along with these cute drives, you need a miner's lamp to get in back of your dusty computer and find the tiny hole to plug it in
Is there a USB "extension cord" that would bring a USB port to your desktop? The new monitors have a USB port right on the monitor, for example.
12I can't believe the price on these! At that price they make really great client gifts, then go get your logo engraved on it from http://www.etchamac.com/
Belkin makes a 6 foot extension cable that is USB 2.0 compatible for about $6 on Amazon
13These are awesome. I just wish the blue (my fave color) was the 4 gig one. I need a new flash drive to back up my school stuff!
