After my melodramatic story about reuniting a lost cell phone with its owner, I was happy to learn that over 90 percent of you said you would do the same. And who can forget the heartwarming story about the young couple in NYC who spent 10 days unraveling clues to get a camera back to its owner. . . Don't you just find it all so serendipitous?! As you can imagine, I was overjoyed to learn that there's a brand new site called I Found Your Camera, which lives up to its name — reuniting lost film, photos, and memory sticks to the appropriate owners. The site has only been up for a week and already has numerous success stories. Now if only they'd start one for cell phones, too!

hah, funny site.
1What a cool site!
2I guess they haven't found the camera I lost yet
3Cool idea, but this is the first time I've heard about this. They should advertise and publicize it more so the camera owners can be able to search for them. It's nice to know that there are actually honest people out there, though.
4i love this idea!
5When I read that AP story about the young couple in NYC, I literally cried a little bit(dramatic, I know), what a nice story. I just wish that this site had existed when I was in college...I lost way too many cameras, phones, and memory sticks. Great website of the day!
6What a great idea to have a website to reunite lost cameras, film and memory sticks with their owners! I just hope no one abuses this service by claiming ownership on items that aren't theirs.
I agree, GeekSugar, it'd be nice to have a website like this for mobile phones (and even laptops and PDAs).
7that's so cool!! it's good to know there are nice people left in the world. imagine if it worked that way with your purse or wallet... unfortunately most people aren't THAT nice.
8what a great idea!
9this is so sweet! my mom still talks about a bag of old slides and negatives she lost when moving like 25 year ago. pictures mean a lot to people so this is a great idea and site!
