I am not only in love with all things geeky, but all things related to music as well. Thankfully we live in a time where we have access to more cool music, more often with sites like Pandora and Mercora making it super easy to get new music into those earbuds. If you have access to the internet (duh) and either Windows Media, Real Player, or iTunes then you're all set to feast your ears on the musical stylings of kexp.org.

Why else do I love it? Just read more
I know I'm not the only one here at Sugar HQ that loves the sounds of KEXP. An independently operated radio station in Seattle, KEXP plays some pretty awesome music all day long that you can stream directly from their site. What's more is that the DJs pick their own playlists and it's completely member supported, so you don't get the repeat factor or endless commercials like you do on your standard radio station. I totally dig finding new music that I may not hear normally, but end up loving, and KEXP has on more than one occasion has helped me do just that.

Thanks for posting this. I'm definitely going to try it out.
1KEXP is great. I should listen to it more. One of my friends who always has great music recommendations often reveals KEXP as his source for the latest discoveries.
2I love KEXP! They're in the middle of their spring pledge drive right now, so if you really love their programing you should consider donating. And if you're in the Seattle area, they have a bunch of volunteer opportunities! I helped out with the pledge phone lines on Sunday and it was a really fun time.
3My audio isn't working on this computer...but one local station that I like is WERS (Boston) they also stream online.
4I forgot here is the link:

They are one of the best, if no THE best, college radio stations in the country
