Adorable or creepy? This USB owl is certainly cute, but those big wide eyes stare at you and blink at you while you sit at your computer. And that's it. Seriously, I like cute animal desk accessories as much as the next soft-hearted geek, but is the market for USB devices that do next to nothing endless?
I guess this is perfect for the, uh, owl enthusiast in your life. Who doesn't mind being creepily stared at while they work. Which I can get for free at the public library, thank you very much.

1I'd want one, if i sat at a desk a lot. i do wonder how often it blinks at you.
2Can anyone explain why these things have USB cables instead of batteries? I really don't understand. It's the same with that humping dog. I'm all for amusing desk ornaments... I have a few Qees and the like, but wasting a usb port?
3i guess so you don't have to buy batteries? that's all i can figure - and i think that's it. that and the attaraction that it makes it really connected to your computer.
this is kind of weird... but most usb weird things are, yes?

9Cute! But it's not an actual USB drive or USB port so I wouldn't have use for it. I have enough cute things cluttering up my desk as it is. And after visiting my friend at Yale this weekend and going to the Spice Girls concert last night, I don't have a dime.
