I have a soft spot in my heart for handmade geekery because it reflects an almost old-fashioned devotion to all things geek. Spending the long hours making a quilt of this magnitude has to say something about Etsy seller CarolinaPatchworks — is it she herself or a treasured love one who adores The Legend of Zelda? The price is steep ($425) but for what you get, a geeky heirloom to be enjoyed for years and passed down to your future geek generations, it seems pretty appropriate. What do you think of this crash of video games and crafting?
