I can't help but get a bit of satisfaction and pleasure from personalizing my gadgets — especially with fun new decals and chic new cases. So when PartySugar gave me a glittery-gold sticker to put on the back of my cell phone (it was the first initial of my name), I absolutely loved it. The sticker has since worn off (call it overuse of the phone if you will), but I'm always on the look out for sparkly new accessories to jazz up my gadgets.
Aside from the usual blinged-out, cellphone cases at CES this year, I also came across (ahem . . . was blinded by) these crystal-covered laptop stickers. I can't say I'd want to go all out and slap one of these on my laptop, but I'm curious to know if any of you would?! What do you think? Too geeky or somewhat geek chic?

I can see putting an initial or maybe a decal that has crystals in the shape of a symbol or something....but all of this crazy "let's cover every inch of our gadgets in rhinestones" stuff is killing me.
I mean, seriously...who wants a cellphone that is going to scratch up their hands because it's so rough? Or a laptop that is going to blind them?
12cute, but... i think too much glitter like that big appliances such as laptops is a bit much.. putting them on phones and other smaller things would look better.

This sort of thing always reminds me of the horrible glue-and-glitter creations we all made back in kindergarten. We thought they were so pretty then, but we wouldn't exactly go around hanging them in galleries now, would we? And we certainly wouldn't tape them to our laptops.

22I'm not into super sparkle stuff, it looks like my five-year-old daughters dress-up gear. I do like the idea of customizing my laptop, but not like this. Just too juvenile.

29I LOVE bling, as in jewelry; the laptop bling? Its ok..might be fun for a while if the right pattern but as someone else said, I'd be afraid of the tacky mess after you try to remove it.
I'd bet there'd be one because that would force you to have to keep buying their product.
