Well, to some people, flip phones look much more smart and "professional" than a phone that is so small it's hidden by your entire hand. I know this sounds odd, but I've heard SO many people
in the 35-60 age range say that people with smart phones, small phones, non-flip phones look like they either A) belong with the "special kids" or B) the nut house.
No, I'm not kidding. I actually spewed cherry coke all over my monitor when my grandfather said the line about the "special kids". It was totally wrong, but totally hilarious.
