The latest addition to the OQO gadget family is the new Model 02 handheld PC. This upgraded phone is covered in sleek black casing, has a blacklit keyboard with keys, a brighter LCD screen and you also get a docking station full of features. This model will be available soon from shop OQO for $1,500.
The model 02's integrated mobile broadband technology means convenient, fast, and secure connectivity to the internet, email, and business applications for mobile professionals. I haven't played around with these much, but I have a total infatuation with the idea right now. While my MacBook is plenty portable, and I would never trade in its functionality and "Macness," I am considering investing in a tiny PC that can fill in when I don't want to carry my computer, but want a little more power than the handheld. The design wins two thumbs up for being sleek as well.
