Just when I thought I was going to have to spend the rest of my life awkwardly covering bookjackets so as not to expose my penchant for smutty chick lit, I found the ultimate aide to travel reading (and reputation keeping) - the Sony Reader PRS-500. It’s smaller and weighs less than most paperbacks, and can hold a month’s worth of romance novels. You can download books from eBookstores and easily transfer the files from your computer to the Reader or upload your Word docs for easy access to your work files. Get ready to read and roll.
Buy it here for $350.

What a GRAND idea!!
1This is perfect! I've always had a horrible fetish for chick lit. I hate it but can't get over it.

I must say, adolescence is one hell of a ride!
It is a great idea.

4well said stone. i concur.
5I agree with both Jenna and Jen.
6Once it gets cheaper, I will DEFINITLY invest in one.
7This is SO cool.
8I think this is a horrible idea. Reading your work files is one thing but reading a 500 page book is different. Your eyes WILL hurt. It's much healthier for your eyes to read a book (even a really small print one)than to stare at a screen. (The eye muscle gets weaker if it is focused on a short distance away from you PLUS the light emitted from the screen = bad news).
Also, when you're on your computer remember to focus your eyes on something further away every couple of minutes so that your ocular muscles don't get strained (=pain, weakness).
9Ohhh, if I could only justify the $$$. Unfortunately, too many other things take priority.
